IoT cybersecurity - a good investment

IoT cybersecurity - a good investment

Here you get access to the latest tools in IoT cybersecurity, enabling you to conduct internal workshops flexibly and at your own pace.

Why invest time in IoT cybersecurity?

Cybersecurity presents a significant challenge for many companies that have connected their products and processes to the internet (IoT – Internet of Things). Is this the case in your organisation? Are you aware of the potential threats? How do you assess their severity? And how should you address NIS2 requirements as well as those from customers, partners and authorities?

Begin by empowering your organisation with the knowledge, methods and tools provided by CyPro’s online learning platform.

The platform offers access to the latest tools in IoT cybersecurity, enabling you to conduct internal workshops flexibly and at your own pace. Thes focal point is risk assessment, and through a set of tasks, you will learn how to approach risk management systematically from different – yet interconnected – perspectives: technical, business, quality and organisation.

Once you can demonstrate that IoT cybersecurity is an integral part of your IoT solutions, your organisation will be perceived as an even more attractive partner or supplier. Therefore, IoT cybersecurity is not just a security measure but also an important competitive advantage – and thus a worthwhile investment.

Who are you

This learning platform is targeted at companies that manufacture or deploy connected products for e.g. data collection, analysis and process optimisation.

To benefit the most from the learning programme, we recommend assembling a team with diverse professional backgrounds. This way, you will gain multiple perspectives on your company and create greater insight. This could include:

  • Technical specialists, responsible for the technical aspects of IoT products
  • Business developers, focused on the business aspects of products and solutions
  • Management, responsible for ensuring that IoT cybersecurity is integrated into the company’s strategy
  • Quality managers, responsible for integrating IoT cybersecurity into the company’s quality systems

Course structure

We recommend that you start with the introductory video The four building blocks, which introduces the four building blocks, the structure of the course, and how to use the learning platform. Once you are ready, you can explore each building block and start working with the tools. This is a practical and iterative process that deepens your understanding of IoT cybersecurity while also addressing your specific challenges.

The course is thus an interplay between the knowledge provided on the learning platform and practical internal workshops that you organise in your company. Each module includes more detailed instructions on how to conduct the workshops, along with printable tools and step-by-step guides.

You also have access to additional support for the course: You can either attend one of our in-person courses, or you can book a free one-on-one session with one of the experts who developed the learning platform.

Note: Our in-person courses are described in Danish on the website but can be held in English upon request.
